What this site is

PermitPulled is an independent, informational site built from public license data published by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), presented as aggregated statistics. It is not operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with TDLR or the State of Texas.

This is not the official record

Records here are copied from a public file and can lag the official system by several days. A license renewed, suspended or revoked recently may not be reflected yet. Before you hire someone, renew a license or rely on a record for any decision, confirm its status directly with TDLR.

The information is provided as is, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.

Uses that are not permitted

PermitPulled is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the information on this site is not a consumer report. You may not use this site or its information to decide anyone's eligibility for employment, credit, insurance, housing or any other purpose covered by the FCRA.

You also agree not to:

  • copy, scrape or extract records in bulk by automated means;
  • use the information to harass, threaten, stalk or contact anyone in violation of the law;
  • interfere with the site's operation or try to access data that is not publicly shown;
  • present the information as coming from TDLR or any government source.

Sponsored content

Some areas of the site and some reminder emails contain sponsored content, such as listings for continuing-education providers. Sponsored content is labelled. Payment from sponsors never changes what a license record says. We do not endorse any sponsor, and your dealings with a sponsor are between you and that sponsor.

Corrections and removal

License holders can ask us to correct or remove their record from this site by emailing info@permitpulled.com with their license number. Removal from this site does not change the official record held by TDLR.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PermitPulled and its operator are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its information, including decisions made without confirming a record with TDLR.

Changes

We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
